BIBA Brings Concrete
Examples of Success
Our campaign to strengthen locally
owned, independent businesses has grown dramatically since our
launch in January, 1998. Increasingly, we can point to concrete
results that bring patrons to BIBA members. Between December
and May, for instance, we distributed 8,500 BIBA member directories
to consumers throughout Boulder County. We have already distributed
10,000 of 12,000 printed copies of our greatly improved Summer/Fall
BIBA directories, increasingly grabbing the attention of Boulder
consumers that now patronize our member businesses more than
ever.
BIBA is a nonprofit organization, funded
entirely by annual dues of member businesses and community
contributors. We have a staff of three part-time directors.
